Seeking Support
As TENS expands our educational library, which covers both Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome and a broader understanding of alcohol dependency, we are also establishing partnerships with facilities that can provide immediate support when needed. Our message remains clear: seeking help from a support person or group is always the safest and most effective way to begin the journey to overcoming alcohol dependency. There is never a reason to face this challenge alone.

Created with people and families in mind, Shatterproof Treatment Atlas® is a free, online platform that helps you understand which treatment options may be the right fit. When visiting Treatment Atlas, you can search for programs directly, or you can take part in a confidential, 10-question screener that will guide you to potential treatment options based on your responses. Using Treatment Atlas’ comprehensive list of facilities, you can filter your results based on important factors such as the availability of detoxification services, medication-assisted treatment, special populations served, insurance accepted, and more. You can find and compare programs, view transparent information on services offered, read patient reviews, and contact facilities directly from the Treatment Atlas website. We know that the disease of addiction can be incredibly lonely, but recovery doesn’t have to be. Visit TreatmentAtlas.org to start your recovery journey.
